The most critical process of any project. Installation going through few major steps of process. Distribution and staging ,installation and finishing.
Prior to any installation our team review the documents and field conditions to avoid any potential surprises that will delay the process. If our team create the shop drawings in the first place. We already reviewed all needed documents and field conditions. We only work when the shop drawings stamp approved.
Few major steps need to be taking prior the installation for major commercial projects. If we are working with the project that going through Renovation. We request to do pull test in the field.
Our team also cooperate with our caulking supplier to schedule the caulking pull test in the field to make sure product is meet project requirements, and have no any side effects from waterproofing components. During the completion of the project we will receive warranty letter on the caulking that can be passed to the ownership of the building.
Proper distribution and staging process is one of the key for successful installation. Windows installation in the commercial building are conjugated with this process for successful completion. Crew members do not waste they time to figure out the location and spending time to allocate the units, glass and any other accessories. Also leading to minimize the damage during the installation process. It is definitely one of the best practices during installation of new windows or replacing of the old windows. It is also great practice for replacement of the windows.
After the units are distributed it is always critical to verify the opening for the size and any potential issues with waterproofing and visual water damage spots. Most of the time in the industry the damage related to the water damage and it is areas around the window are potential water entrance into the building. The same rules apply to the curtain wall installation just on the bigger scale of the opening.
We have designated team for different categories. It is installation of the store front, curtain wall, railing , canopies, different types of doors and windows, sunrooms and sun shades, panels and aluminum camping. Some of the categories required our team members to participate in training by our suppliers in addition to alreasy certified training required by OSHA standards. We make sure our team members also have pipe scaffolding 4 hours cards. While some mechanics also have suspended scaffold and equipment operators additional certification.
All our jobs verified by proffesional management that work in the field. We are going through extensive punch list to verify full completion of the project.
